If you're doing direct marketing, get to know your prospect like an assassin... then execute. š
The "kill" isn't the person, it's the deal.
Now that I have your attention...
For those who don't know me, I've spent more than 30 years building a successful service business. I also invented a product that found its way into retail points of sale around the world.
Different businesses. Same formula.
Before I approached anyone, I did my homework.
I wanted to understand who they were, how they thought, what mattered to them, and where I could genuinely create value.
That level of preparation says something before you've even earned the business. It tells people you care enough to understand them before asking them to trust you.
If this is the effort you put into earning the work, imagine the commitment you'll bring once you've earned it.
Don't chase a sale.
Earn the relationship.
Become the person they think of first when they need someone who delivers.
That's not luck.
That's preparation.
